ROBOTICS Electric Motor

Racing Electric Instrument CO. LTD expanded our design and manufacturing capability into the Robotics industry in 2014.  With this venture, we expanded our product line to include Servo Motors that drive robotic arms.  Robotics electric motor require high precision in turns torque output as well as motor control.  At REI, we are able to leverage our experience in Aerospace and extends to robotics which resulted in high quality products our client can trust.

Robotics electric motors are the "muscles" that power robots. They convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, enabling robots to move, manipulate objects, and perform tasks.

Key Characteristics:

  • Precision: Robotics often requires precise movements, so motors must be able to provide accurate control over speed, torque, and position.
  • Power-to-Weight Ratio: Robots often need to be lightweight and agile, necessitating motors with high power output relative to their size and weight.
  • Reliability: Consistent and reliable operation is crucial, especially in critical applications where failures can have significant consequences.
  • Controllability: Motors must be easily controlled and integrated with the robot's control system.
